Possibly one of the only transmission rebuilders in the UK with the specialist equipment to test Allison 1000/2000 Series valve blocks (independent of the transmission) from 3rd Generation right through to MY10 Series.
A dedicated clean room is used to dramatically reduces the risk of airborne particles entering the passages of the valve block during assembly and test.
Remanufactured valve blocks are mounted onto our new bespoke test rig to interrogate, measure and report on solenoid and valve performance, whilst running through a sequence of shift patterns. Fault finding can be carried out and modifications made, ensuring a perfectly serviceable valve control block can then be fitted to a rebuilt transmission. As with final transmission testing, only high grade TES295 specification oil is used.
A conventional hydraulic valve block test bench is retained for measuring and calibrating earlier AT/MT Series Allison transmissions.
